Have you ever been the last one in class finishing a workout? Any workout, but for the sake of creating a picture let's say it's Fran. 21-15-9 Thursters and Pull ups.We can all agree that in the middle of a workout, it sucks, we're suffering and just want to get it done. Now imagine that you've just started the 9 Thursters in Fran, you're so close to the end, but everyone else in the class is already done, and half of them are taking the weights off their bars right in front of you, putting their barbells away, cleaning the pull up rig off, etc. If you have ever been in this position, it totally sucks!As much as you're in the middle of your workout, doing your own thing and you shouldn't be allowing outside factors to affect you. When the rest of the class is done and putting stuff away it is completely deflating!We absolutely appreciate that you're keen to help clean up and put your equipment away, but please just hang out, catch your breath, grab a drink of water and cheer on everyone who is finishing. If the class is running towards the end and you have to jet out, let your coach know and in most cases they'd be happy to help put your stuff away at the end, or have a group effort clean up.After all, one of the best parts of CrossFit is the camaraderie. The fact that the last person finishing a workout is cheered for louder the the person who finished first. We all "suffer" together!
