Punishment
Why would you punish a child? Because they did something wrong, and you want them to learn a lesson and never do it again! Usually the reason right?!So why in the world do some look at their training as a punishment? You went out last night and drank a bottle of wine, so you "have" to go to the workout the next day and crush yourself? Hell no! Or you went out and ate an ice cream cone at sunset point because it was a beautiful summer night, so you "have" to go to the gym to work it off? Again, hell no! Looking at your training as a punishment for something you ate or drank, is wrong on so many levels.Punishments are given to teach lessons and to discourage you from doing it again. The goal is for the punishment to suck, to not be fun, because you never want that punishment again. We do not want you to look at your training that way! Not at all! We want your time with us, inside the gym to be the best hour of your day. A celebration of what your body is capable of doing. Because let's be honest, you can do some pretty amazing things!So for anyone who looks at training as a punishment, stop it!Start looking it as a celebration for what your body can do!.
