An Update

We have been in contact with Curtis almost daily lately. Getting text message updates from him on how things are going on his road to recovery since his stroke. As many of you ask about him, we wanted to give you an update.

Physio is tough, but thats how they roll here. It's intensive rehab for a reason. The goal here is to become as independent as possible.
Sitting up and standing up properly is exhausting. I'm using muscles I haven't used since before the stroke. The health care team and I are all happy with my progress.

It's baby steps everyday.

Even learning how to talk, read and write again is very taxing.
I'm anxious to get back, so patience is key!

It's still a long road ahead, but I'm walking it, and will get there. I appreciate all the encouragement from everyone.
