The Heaviest Day of the Year
It’s CrossFit Total day!
You will be given 15 mins per lift, use your time wisely, when the 15 mins is up, you must move on to the next lift.
We’re looking for your heaviest lifts in back squat, shoulder press, and deadlift. Go heavy, challenge yourself, BUT within the movement standards.
On the back squat, you must squat below parallel for it to count towards your CrossFit Total. On the shoulder press, you must keep the legs still, no help from them whatsoever, and press to a position of support above your head for it to count towards your CrossFit Total, and on the deadlift you must pick the bar up to standing with the shoulders behind the bar.
If you do lifts but have something going on that you can’t meet the standard of movement, just make a note of it in your books, but don’t count those numbers in the total. We all have little things that go on sometimes and that’s totally fine, keep a note for yourself so you know for next year when it comes up again.
