The Power of a Community
Collingwood is TRULY one of the greatest communities around. Aside from the beauty of Collingwood making it a great place to live. The community is incredible. We as a community rally together! Collingwood got behind Drew Wright when he was on Canadian Idol. We got behind Scott Thornton when he did Battle of the Blades, we got behind Cameron Street Public School for the Aviva community fund, and those are just a few examples….It's now time for our community to rally again, and get behind the Hunt Family. Brian & Narda are fighting for Narda's life. They're fighting cancer again, and they need our help!We're holding a fundraiser this Saturday, September 30th at 9am. Instead of the traditional Saturday Partner WOD, we will hold a group workout at 9am followed by a brunch (by donation). Special thanks to Aron Knight for helping us with the brunch. If anyone wishes to bring anything for potluck please feel free.All are welcome to attend the workout, brunch & silent auction! Tell all your friends and family, CrossFitters and non-CrossFitters alike. If you don't wish to take part in the workout, you can still stop by to check out the silent auction!!It's not often we get chances to truly be real life superheroes and possibly extend a life. We can't take Narda's cancer or pain away, but if by holding a fundraiser and raising some money can help in anyway, we feel like it's the very least we can do!
When we come together as a community, small things can make a huge impact!
