Last week CrossFit Indestri celebrated our 7th Anniversary.When founder, Scott Thornton opened the doors 7 years ago, the idea was to recreate the locker room environment that he missed so much from his years in the NHL. Scott believed that if he could recreate a place free from judgement and peer pressure, with complete acceptance from others, that CrossFit Indestri would be successful.
We believe not only did Scott achieve that goal, but that we (Steph, Stouty & Jen) have continued to carry on that original belief after taking over ownership in 2015.We've had many highlights at CFI over the past 7 years. From sharing in celebration after a member lost 100 lbs in 12 months, to as a gym community helping to raise over $100,000 towards a future without breast cancer. We've rallied together to support causes close to the hearts of members, we've hit workouts together in honour of friends and sheds tears, through Scott CFI has had training camps with both the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs, we've had events with some of the Fittest Women in the sport of CrossFit at our facility, we've witnessed kids grow and develop into fine young adults, we've watched members overcome fears, and accomplish many goals.We may have moved into a larger facility, but we've always maintained the core values that CFI was founded on.We're proud that CrossFit Indestri is a place you can come to be assisted in your health and fitness goals, free of judgement, with an amazingly supportive community that will truly enrich your life.We have an incredible team of experienced coaches and staff who's days are made better by having you in their classes!CrossFit Indestri has become more than just a gym, it's a community of truly phenomenal humans who want to see each other thrive!
