SFCF End of an Era

If you’ve been a part of the CrossFit Community for awhile you’ve probably heard of San Francisco CrossFit, or The Parking Lot of Dreams, Kelly Starrett, even Mobility WOD, now known as The Ready State.

Yesterday afternoon we learned that on November 15th SFCF will close their doors for good. Notice of Closing For those who have been in CrossFit for a longtime, this is sad news that ends an era of one of the most iconic CrossFit Affiliates. SFCF has had some of the most incredible coaches in CrossFit over the years, from Carl Paoli + Brian MacKenzie, to Jesse Burdick + Diane Fu, just to name a few. Head Judge for the CrossFit Games, Adrian Bozman was the first coach that Kelly and his wife Juliet employed.

The history at SFCF runs deep. We truly feel heartbroken for Kelly, Juliet + the entire SFCF family.

The pandemic has been hard on everyone, it’s heartbreaking to see facilities like this have to close their doors because of it. If you have a few moments do read the Notice of Closing from SFCF above.
