Long Weekend

It’s the first long weekend of the ‘summer’. Our hours will be regular hours on Saturday, and Monday will be MURPH. We have increased the class cap and opened registration for Murph already.

For those who maybe don’t know what Murph is, Murph is a Hero WOD we do every year on Victoria Day. Murph is named after the fallen American Hero Lt. Michael Murphy who sacrificed his own life for his team. If you have ever seen the movie Lone Survivor it is the story of Murph and his team.

The workout Murph is:

1 Mile Run
100 Pull Ups
200 Push Ups
300 Air Squats
1 Mile Run

It’s a big workout. So we a lot a 2 hour time cap for it.
The RX version is done for the Men with a 20lb Weight Vest and for the Women with a 14lb Weight Vest.

We repeat this WOD every year on Victoria Day.
