For today’s focus work, ensure you’re picking a weight that you can continue to do all 3 - 5 reps each round on the minute for all 10 minutes. But this weight must also be a weight that you can always ensure that you are squatting below parallel each and every rep, no question.
As we have mentioned many times, the below parallel squat is a non negotiable. Get that crease of your hip below the top of your knee. Every single athlete goal should be to achieve this movement standard, before you even care about how much weight is on the bar. We don’t care about how much weight you can squat, or how fast you can do it, if you’re sacrificing the integrity of the movement for weight or speed.
Movement, then Consistency, then Intensity.
