As we mentioned on Monday, we often see some changes in the class attendance levels on days when it’s more, or solely endurance based work.
We hear comments about not coming because “you can run anywhere, on your own, and you don’t need to come to the gym to run.” Or “I just don’t like running.” Or “I have an injury that prevents me from running.”
We’ve even been asked why would continue to program endurance days when we do see a dip in class attendance. The reason is simple. Those days are needed. Just like the unbroken DT day is needed, or the gymnastics day, body weight day. etc.
Having our training constantly varied, with functional movements, allows are help build athletes who specialize in no particular area, but instead excel in many areas.
