Re-Open

As numbers in Ontario continue to rise, our fellow affiliate owners + friends in the hotspot areas are still fighting to be allowed to re-open training inside their affiliates. In the York area one affiliate owner was told he could personal train one athlete at a time in his facility, but that he can not allow them to use any of his equipment. That they just bring their own.

We’re 100% committed to doing the right thing to keep numbers down, but a lot of the thing surrounding fitness facilities don’t hold any fact. There was one outbreak at a spin studio in Hamilton, which was unfortunate. But because of the way fitness facilities are, they were able to contact trace it. Can the same be said for standing in line at Walmart?

If you’re on instagram, @crossfitterwithasign has made a post to get the Premier of Victoria in Australia to pay attention. Their facilities have not been allowed to reopen since March. Whether there is a connection with her post last night or not, a few hours after it began to get shared and their premier was tagged in the shares on stories, they were given a date of November 8th to reopen. So head to @crossfitterwithsign on instagram, share the post into your story and be sure to tag @fordnationdougford maybe with enough tags someone will take notice. ( Doesn’t work unless you tag @fordnationdougford.
