Real Talk Complaining

Our 3rd addition of Real Talk is on complaining.

Let’s get into it.

Real Talk, you come to us for fitness. It seems to be the norm that some level of complaining is ingrained in us when we’re maybe not good at something, or not looking forward to something. But complaining doesn’t really help, what is does do is put you in a negative headspace, and can trickle into those around you as well.

Whether your complaining out loud, or complaining to yourself in your head, work to change the narrative. If it’s something you’re not good at, tell yourself by doing it, and working on it, you will get better. If it’s something you just don’t like, tell yourself you love it. You love burpees, you love the assault bike, wall balls, etc.

Real Talk here, walking in to the facility looking at the whiteboard, and complaining about the work on it, our only response really is, you come to us for fitness right?! You want to get fit, you want to get better, you have to work for it.
