Going Virtual Again
As many of you have probably already seen, the Ontario Government is closing Fitness Facilities again, from Wednesday, Jan 5th until Wednesday, Jan 26th.
That doesn’t mean your fitness stops. We will once again be going virtual and offering zoom classes to keep you motivated, healthy and fit. We will also continue to post the workouts here nightly, including the buy in’s, incase the zoom times don’t work, you can hit them at home not on zoom, and will also be adding the leaderboard back onto zenplanner. That means after you do the workout, log your score on zenplanner, as we’re looking at adding a few giveaways as added motivation to keep your fitness going.
Look, we know it’s not ideal, we know no-one likes that we’re back here, we know, we’re right there with you. But zoom classes do work, ask the many members who have used them throughout the past closures.
Our goal for the net 26 days is to maintain your fitness level, and we will do just that through virtual online classes and at home programming. You don’t need equipment, but if you have some things at home you can use them. Sandbags and backpacks are great to use for most movements. We will also bring back a few fun at home challenges. We know this isn’t where any of us wanted to be, but we will make the most of it together.
In the meantime, we would also encourage you to write to our MPP Jim Wilson as well as the premiers office.

To give them an idea of just how important fitness is to overall health. At some point someone in power has to start listening and switch the conversation to health over illness.
