Constantly Varied is a huge part of CrossFit. For as long as we can remember one of the tagline CrossFit has, has been “routine is the enemy.”

Constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity, across broad times and modal domains.

So if in our programming, which consists of movements, time frame, intensity levels, etc. We’re constantly having you not practice a ‘routine’ so to speak. We want you to take that over into your experience inside the facility now as well.

What do we mean?

Change it up. Stop coming in and going to the exact same spot every class and setting up there. If you come to the exact same class time, the exact same days of the week, change it up. Experience different class times, different coaches, different fellow athletes. If you’ve never come to a Saturday partner WOD and hit a WOD with a partner, do it.

Routine is the enemy. Don’t be so set in your ways that it’s uncomfortable to change it up. The other tagline that has been a part of CrossFit for years is, we train for unknown and unknowable.
