Last week on our social media we asked for you to tell us some of the things you’ve heard about CrossFit, or the myths we can help clarify and debunk. The first was about the cost of CrossFit.
Today let’s talk about the Quality of Movement.
You’ve heard that “the weight is more important than the movement quality”, FALSE. False, false, and false…. We will never ever push the weight over the quality, or the skill over the quality.
We teach movement, it’s important to us that your movement is quality movement over the weights, or the skill. In fact, we would rather you take weight off and dial in the movement. Weights and skills will come, but that stems first from quality movements.
So, if you ever hear anyone say that we care more about the time on the clock, the weight on the barbell, or the skill of the movement, that is completely false. It’s always, Quality First…..
