Knowing Yourself
We’ve talked lots of different times about the WHOOP and tracking data and getting to know yourself even more through this data. Of course the WHOOP is just another tool and can’t tell you everything. You should always listen to your body. But it is interesting, and something we learned this morning even more so.
We all know the role that stress plays on your body isn’t the best. But this morning I got a text message (the above photo) from my 15 year old daughter. Her WHOOP tracked that she had done an activity with a 7.0 strain because her heart rate was elevated for a good period of time. The “activity” that she had been doing during that time was taking a math test. Just interesting to learn even more about the things we do in our daily life outside of the gym that play roles in our strain, recovery and even sleep.
