Etiquette in the Facility
A couple times during the year we tend to do some reminders. A few friendly reminders of some of the etiquette in the facility. We’ve added in a few COVID etiquette points as well. Please ensure you read all.
Please introduce yourself to new members in your classes. They've heard us rave about how incredible our community is. Please welcome them with open arms!
Please be on time for class, this shows respect to your coach and the other athletes. Please also don’t arrive too early as with COVID we need the 15 mins between classes to ensure everything is properly sanitized.
Your encouragement and support is always welcome, in fact it’s encouraged. But we have incredible coaches in our facility and it's there job to coach. Please continue to encourage and support your fellow athletes, but leave the coaching to the coaching staff!
Please remember to wipe down all the equipment you use after use in the gym. The members coming in to use that equipment after you greatly appreciates it as do we! Also please do not write on the floors with chalk. This creates a big mess that does not clean up very easily. It's important to write things down and keep track of your workouts, so instead bring a book, grab a pen and keep track in your book please + thank you. ((This is more important now than every, remembering to sanitize everything you touch!))
Signing in has gotten so much better through COVID thank you! But please ensure that if you’re signed in and are unable to attend that you also sign out so someone else can sign in.
Please remember that while washrooms are open during COVID, we can only have one person at a time in the washroom.
Please wait until the workout is over to begin putting away your equipment. You can sanitize it in your space, but out of respect for the athletes still working out, please do not put it away before the time cap.
HAVE FUN! Remember that training is and should be FUN. Enjoy your time training. Sure sometimes in the middle of a workout it sucks, but dig deep, and remember, you don't 'have' to do this, you get to. Have fun doing it!
