It may not be the sexy stuff

A couple years ago most of us were scratching our heads wondering why CrossFit had taken such a 180, and began focusing on working out a home, with a broom stick, antifreeze jugs, a couch. Now it seems for the past year (off and on), we’ve been focusing on a lot of this same stuff.

Here’s the thing, it may not be the sexy stuff, like going into the facility and jumping up on the pull up rig, or tossing weights around. But it is the fundamental stuff, and the fact is that continuing to put in the work daily will improve everything. Not only will allow you to continue working on your fitness, it will dial in technique, etc.

Don’t pause your fitness because it doesn’t look the same. Working on the “not sexy stuff” will make all the sexy stuff that much better when we’re in person again.

Buy In:

3 Rounds of:
40 seconds on 10 second rest

Min 1 - High Knees - Butt Kicks
Min 2 - Inch Worm Shoulder Tap
Min 3 - Squat Lunge/Lunnge

Focus:

4 Rounds

5/5 Bent Rows
3 Pike Push up negatives
20 Handstand Hold OR Hold Weight Overhead

WOD:

Every 3 mins x 6 Rounds

400m Run
then AMRAP :

3 Pull up or Bent rows
6 Push Up
9 Air Squat 

*Start with run every 3 mins
