Re-Opening

As mentioned a few days ago, we’ve officially been given permission to re-open training inside our facility.

This comes with a list of rules we must abide by:

There will be a COVID-19 screening questionnaire added to your zenplanner account, which we’re in the process of sorting out. This must be signed prior to attending any indoor classes, and if anything changes, you must let us know.

You will be asked to wash your hands upon arrival inside the facility and to wash your hands before you leave as well.

We’re unable to welcome drop in visitors to the area at this time. Bylaw has made us aware that only athletes with memberships may attend. You must sign in for classes on zenplanner prior to attending. We can not make any exceptions on this. If you need a password reset let us know. But please do not show up for a class hoping for a spot. We will not be able to allow you to train.

No one will be able to use the change rooms or the showers until further notice. You will only be able to use the washroom to use the toilets. Please arrive for classes ready to train.

There will be areas tapped on the floor (much like the circle outside) for you to train in. We will need to have you remain in the areas while in the facility. No “meeting at the chalkboards” etc. You will also need to remain 2 meters apart from everyone at all times while in the facility.

Please do not come early to warm up. Classes will remain 45 mins long for the time being to allow for sanitization of equipment and class turn over. When you arrive at the facility please hang out outside, social distancing. The coaches will welcome you in to the facility just before it’s time for your class to begin.

Only the equipment being used in classes that day will be allowed to be used. This means anything that is not in your “tapped” area is not allowed to be used. C2Bikes, assault bikes, crossover symmetry, etc. will be unable to be used for the time being as well.

No open gym. For the time being we’re only allowed to offer the facility for classes. There will not be any open gym training times on the schedule.

We pride ourselves on CFI being a family facility, unfortunately for the time being, we’re unable to have any additional people in the facility, “no spectators” is the mandate, so children will not be able to come and sit during your training time, We look forward to this changing!

Class times will remain the same as the current classes for the first little while, with the exception of daily 6am classes. As needed, class times will be adjusted and or added. We appreciate your understanding as we begin to navigate a new normal.

We can’t even being to tell you how excited we are to begin to get back to some sort of new normal. It’s been a long road, and it’s still a lot longer for many other CF facilities who have not been given the green light yet. We’re thankful that the premiers office, the MPP’s office and our local bylaw have all listened to us with respect to CFI being a training facility and not your typical gym!
