9/11 Tribute WOD

Today we honour the lives lost on 9/11, and in following tradition with us, on this day we will start the WOD with a moment of silence, the clock will begin, but we will not, no music, no moving, just sitting on your rowers for the first minute and paying respect to the lives forever changed on 9/11. We also do not be take a score on 9/11 but rather, your score for the whiteboard, we will be asking and writing down where you were on a 9/11 when the news broke.

This WOD like all Hero WODs we do, is about paying respect and tribute to the lives lost and the lives changed forever on 9/11.

If you’re new to CrossFit, Hero WODs are workouts in honour of fallen hero’s. Men and Women (fellow CrossFitters) who have lost their lives in the line of duty. These WODs are typically some of the hardest WODs we do, and for good reason.
