An Update
Monday, Simcoe Muskoka moves into the orange zone. What does this mean for us?
Well, to be honest, a lot of the measures we have been running with since we reopened are red zone measures, so not a whole lot changes for us. But we’re adding a few changes and are reminding of or increasing a few more precautions to keep everyone safe.
Our class sizes are already red zone sizes, so nothing will change with that.
Please log in to your zenplanner account and make sure all the contact information we have for you is up to date, including phone numbers and mailing addresses. As well, a new COVID-19 Screening form has been added to your zenplanner account to review and sign.
We’ve added X’s to the middle of each designated workout area and we ask that you stick to the middle of square when working out. The middle of each designated workout area is well over the required distance apart. Please move your equipment around in your area to make it work that your training is happening in the centre of it. Not on the edges facing other squares, and never outside the square. Coaches will continue to stagger you if the rig is in use.
While you do not have to wear a face covering during training. We ask that you do upon arrival and exit of the building, which may be times when a 6m distance might be harder to maintain, especially as winter footwear begins to be left in the lobby area. We suggest a face covering be worn. And as always please keep your distance away from anyone not in the same household as you while you’re inside the facility.
Please do not enter the facility until 5 mins before your class time. We can not have an overlap of athletes entering and existing. Please wait in your car until the previous class has exited the building.
As always you must pre-register prior to attending a class at the facility. Please check to ensure you’re registered before attending and if you’re unable to attend, please remember to sign out!
Our cleaning + sanitization protocols happen between all classes already. Please continue to make sure that everything you touch is sanitized after use. We will continue to fog things like the plates, boxes, etc.
Washrooms remain open, but are still limited to one person at a time.
As always, if you’re feeling unwell, please do not come to the facility!
We thank everyone for your understanding. These are tough times for everyone, we’re doing everything in our power to keep our facility a safe space for you to continue training, but we also need to you help us by abiding by the protocols and measures that we must put in place please.
** Also just a reminder that we run a 7am virtual zoom WOD Monday-Friday. We encourage anyone at home unable to attend in person classes that day to jump into the virtual class. All coaches are more than happy to assist with equipment suggestions, scaling or medications to suit.
