Fitness is Essential
We know it, now we’re just hoping that the powers that be in the Government listen!
A group of Ontario Affiliate owners have been working together behind the scene to try and get the Ontario Government to understand just how essential fitness is, and that we’ve set our facilities up to safely be able to train our athletes through this global pandemic with protocols and producers that in some cases go above the standard guidelines. We’ve been operating our facility with many of the same guidelines they’ve implemented for the red zones, since we reopened.
Our friends at CrossFit NCR in Ottawa were featured yesterday in the Toronto Sun after sending out a letter with a coalition of Ontario physicians.

The hopes is with enough people sharing that Fitness is Essential, the Ontario Government will understand that training facilities like ours need to stay open should more shutdowns happen. That shutting down facilities like ours would do more harm than good. We have another call this evening after classes with a group of affiliate owners from across Ontario. We don’t want to see any other facilities closing because of COVID.
