New Class Time + Update
After discussions with so many, beginning on Monday, the 8am zoom class will now be at 7am. And also beginning this week, you will notice on the class schedule that all 7am classes and 6:30pm classes will be coached by CrossFit Indestri.
We also wanted to give you an update. We’re still working hard to get the doors reopened and be able to train together again in person. As mentioned we’ve had communications with our MP’s office, our MPP’s office, the Premier’s office, as well as the health unit and Collingwood bylaw.
We’ve begun working on being able to use the outdoor grass area at CFI for some in person classes, until the Ontario Government allows to welcome everyone back inside. In the photo above, the tires pictured are 6 feet around, these are being used for visuals of what possible painted circles could be. The space between these tires is 7 1/2 feet, with lots of room for at least 8 if not 10 of these “circles” or WODPODs as CrossFit Orillia has dubbed the areas mapped out in the facility. It is our hope that we can use this space to bring everyone back together until we can reopen the facility. As of Sunday morning we have not had any luck being granted permission as of yet. But we’re still working on it and will keep you updated.
