Week One

And week one of the 2022 CrossFit Open is in the books. Saturday morning saw our athletes competing in the Open throw down in what has felt like the most normal time in the facility in the past two years!

Holding events, competition, etc. are truly like second nature to us, we love it, and we have missed it. The last time we held an event of any kind was the week before the first lockdown in March 2020. While Saturday wasn’t truly set up as an event, and was still structured classes, along with the Open heats competing, it felt great.

Congratulations to all the athletes who competed, you did an incredible job, and thanks to those who helped us judge a few as well. We look forward to the next two weeks, and as mentioned to those who are competing, we will have FitAid coming to attend our 3rd and final Saturday of the Open in March.

Can we also take a second to admire the incredible photo that Hannah (my/Jen’s youngest daughter) captured on Saturday.
