Rest Day

For those of you competing in the CrossFit Open. Consider taking a rest day on Friday’s.

Our programming through the week is not being changed due to the Open, so you might happen to see some movements double up. We do not know what the Open workouts will be until Thursday’s, so we recommend paying close attention to your body, and the workouts.

(**And as the blog was written ahead of time, this blurb has been added. As you will see a perfect example in week one, our class workout for this Friday is Snatch and Wall Walks, which was already programmed long before we found out the open workout today. So please do not attend class on Friday if you are competing on Saturday. Your shoulders will be too fatigued.)

Rest days are just as important as training, and with the area we live in, you can even make Friday’s an active recovery day. Head out for a snowshoe, ski, head to a yoga studio, etc. Especially if this is your first time doing the open.
