Benchmark WOD's like Annie that we we’re doing today exist for a reason. They're a baseline of measurement for your training. And not only for yours, with a Benchmark WOD you can compare yourself to the worldwide CrossFit Community. We all hit the same standards, rope passes under your feet twice on the DU, and on the sit up, back and shoulder blades make contact with the floor, sit up with your shoulder stacked above your hip on the sit up.
These standards all exist for a reason. To make fitness measurable. Are you getting fitter? How do you know if you don't have the data to back it up? Where do you get the data from? The answer should be simple, you shoulder be keeping track.
Everyone should been writing down the information today for Annie in a WOD book. What was your time, what were your sets like on the DU’s, how did you feel?
Write it all down so you can compare when she comes back around and you can bet, she will..... You'll be seeing a few more benchmark's over the next weeks as well, so if you don't have a WOD book, please get one. We do have some available forsake at the gym, or you can bring in any book really.
