Virtuosity

Performing the common uncommonly well.

This is something we talk about and post about often. At CrossFit Indestri we strive for everyone to understand the meaning of virtuosity and carry that meaning over into their/your training.

We want you to perform common movements like the Air Squat, the Push Up, and so on, uncommonly well, so that when those movements transfer over to more “uncommon” movements, like taking the Air Squat and moving to the Front Squat, Back Squat, OHS Squat, your set to perform those movements well because your foundation in the common movements is so great!

Was that confusing? Let’s read it again.

We want you to perform the basic “common” movements so well, that your set up for success in the movements that are a little more complex.

Speed and strength will come a lot faster when you move with virtuosity.
No one cares what your score on the leaderboard is, how fast you move, or how heavy, if those movements look like $^!+. Also strive for virtuosity in your training.
