The Hunt for a Cure
Many of you know the Hunt Family. The whole family have been members of CFI along the way for years. Brian currently still is. Many of you already know Narda’s story and have been following her journey fighting metastatic breast cancer.
Narda Hunt is one of the strongest, bravest and most beautiful women we know. She has been in a battle with metastatic breast cancer for years. In the fall of 2017 the Canadian Health Care system gave her just weeks left to live and set her up with palliative care, Brian and Narda didn’t settle for that and found a clinic in Germany to do a treatment on Narda’s liver that was successful. Over the past 4 years Narda has continued to fight, having multiple brain surgeries, and now has learned that the cancer is back on her liver ( a different area of her liver).
So tomorrow ( Saturday ) the Hunt’s will travel back to Germany for another treatment to continue to fight to extend Narda’s life.
In 2017 we held a special workout and silent auction to help the Hunt Family raise money to travel to Germany, as the treatment and travel was extremely expensive and not something they should have been worrying about paying for when they were battling for Narda’s life. We ended up raising over $13,000 that day to help.
We’ve sent Brian a message to see if there is anything we can do to help this time. If there is, we will absolutely put plans in place. For now we ask that you send positive energy, prayers and love to the Hunt’s as they continue to Fight for a Cure.
