Your Effort

In the live open announcement of 23.3 Adrian Bozman stood in front of the entire CrossFit Community to remind us all that the most important part of the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Open, is that we as athletes recognize that we’re part of a community and culture that celebrates effort, over absolute placement on the leaderboard.

And then as we briefed the workout for you in our facility on Saturday, I asked you to treat 23.3 on Saturday like a Hero WOD, and give it your best effort in honour of Wildfred Oudit, Coach Steph’s Papa.

Last Tuesday Wilf was diagnosed with cancer, and on Friday Wilf entered Hospice care. Steph gives her heart and soul to our facility and all our athletes on a daily basis, we’re her second family. We honour others all the time through workouts, so it only felt right to ask you to put your best effort forth, in honour of her Papa Wilf for 23.3. And you did just that. We’re proud of not only the effort you put forth on Saturday, but the past 2 Saturday’s before that as well. Congratulations to all athletes who competed in the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Open, and thank you for honouring Wilf this past Saturday with your efforts.
