If you spend every day laying on your back after your workouts are over, you’re doing it wrong.If you go heavy every day, you’re doing it wrong.If you “feel the burn” every day, you’re doing it wrong.Everything has a time and a place, make sure you’re keeping things in theirs.For example, many of our clients go through a 2-3 month long phase in which at least two days per week are spent specifically to build tendon durability. It’s tempo city. We do this with our clients immediately before the most intense times in their training season. Go ahead and ask any Active Life RX client if their “heavy, slow days” are easy. 😳 <- that’s the face you’re gonna get.The idea that you need to move fast all the time is a fallacy.
