A Ride

Take a ride with me to somewhere meaningful!As many of you know, last year I rode across Canada to raise funds for childhood cancer research (read this blog for more information on that ride). Together with three teams of riders, and all the volunteers required to make that happen, we raised over $1.4 Million, all of which went directly to support research in the oncology centres across Canada. And we couldn’t have done it without the support of you, who donated funds to this great cause.While I’m not quite up for another ride across Canada, at least, not this year, my fight against this disease continues. This year I will be riding in four separate events; Tour for Kids in Alberta, Nova Scotia, and Ontario, and Tour d’Epicure in Ontario, all to raise funds to support kids’ cancer camps across Canada that support the kids and families that are dealing with childhood cancers. With a little help, your donations will help these kids and their families have a little fun, and give them a chance to network with others who are dealing with similar conditions. I also hope to spend a little time on the road with the National Riders this September. As usual, all funds donated go directly to helping these kids, and donations over $25 are tax deductible.So how can you help?
