It's that time of the year when it seems like there are a million and one posts telling you to sign up for things….
We currently have 3 things were talking about:
The CrossFit Open
The UG Games
Festivus at CFI
Should you sign up? Yes!
We would love to see all of you sign up for the CrossFit Open. Yes it's a competition, and yes you have to be able to hit movement standards in order for reps to count. But it's so much fun. It's a supportive and encouraging environment that pushes you do do your best. Whether that it fighting to hit the standards, or push the intensity. It's a lot of fun! So yes, sign up!
For those who love competing, we encourage you to sign up for UG. The competition will happen this year on July 5th + 6th once again at the Collingwood Grain Elevators. Friday July 5th will be RX + Masters Individuals, Saturday July 6th will be all teams! Last year we won the Top Box award, having the largest amount of athletes + volunteers involved in the event. With that came one of our BikeErgs, and also a code for our teams in 2019. Use code : UGtopbox to sign up + save!
With UG there's a division for everyone. RX, Semi Pro, Amateur, + Masters. If you're looking to compete and would like help finding a team let us know ASAP. Registration goes live this Sunday at 8am!
And Festivus. We're once again hosting the Festivus Games in April. This spring is a co-ed pairs competition. This comp was designed for the non RX athletes. Beginner, Masters + Intermediate divisions. Movement standards are on their website. If you're thinking about competing, get signed up as this comp always sells out!
It's competition season!! Lots of competition for those who like to compete. For those who don't but still want to be part of the action, volunteers + judges are always needed + welcome!!
