When you look at the workout, either on the blog or on the chalkboard at the gym + you see a movement or a weight you’re unable to do, we want you to change your mindset.(of course if there is a legit reason you’re unable to attempt, don’t! Safety is always first!)But if it’s a KB swing for example + your go to weight is always an pink KB, have you ever tried the orange? If the workout calls for DU’s but your not very good at them so always go to singles, give DU’s a go. Throw in some DU’s.We often see people getting sucked into what they feel comfortable doing. If you’re coach is encouraging you to try something, a movement or a weight, it’s most likely because they believe you’re capable of it. So give it a try! Step outside the comfort zone a little. Don’t worry about the clock on the wall, you can always talk to the coach + adjust the reps if need be. But talk to the coach first, so you’re both on the same page.Moral of this post! TRY! Many of us didn’t ever think we’d be able to do half the stuff we can now, + we never would have been able to if we didn’t at least try!
