Do you take your recovery as serious as you take your training?

We recently saw a great blog post by Pure Pharma with CrossFit Games athlete/coach Wes Piatt about recovery!Recovery is just as important as your training.  It comes down to the basics; hydration, sleep, eating nutrient dense food, mental restoration, balance!  Seems simple right?  The honest truth is that in our day to day busy lives we tend to allow one or more of these areas to slip.  "I'm training daily, but I only drink one bottle of water during my workout."   "I'm busy at work and don't have time to eat lunch."  "I go to sleep at 12am and wake up at 6am."If we truly want our bodies to function at optimal level then we need to take the steps to ensure we are providing our bodies with everything they need to do just that!
