Our annual Grace 4 Grace workout is coming up at CFI in a couple weeks.
Every year since 2013 or 2014 we've been doing the benchmark workout Grace ( 30 Clean + Jerks for time ). In honour of Grace Howe, on March 26th, which is National Purple Day aka. Epilepsy Awareness Day.
Monika, Gavin, Emma + Grace Howe were members of CFI, and will always be part of our CFI family. Back in early years at CFI, Monika approached the gym and asked if we could do something to help raise awareness and some money for Epilepsy, which her youngest daughter Grace had been diagnosed with.
Thus came, Grace 4 Grace.
Annually on March 26th, we hit the workout Grace and ask everyone to wear purple, Epilepsy's colour in support. Monika has come in on Grace 4 Grace day in the past and set up purple gear, sold smoothies, shirts, etc. To raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation in Canada.
This year, we've teamed up with Active Label, our apparel providers to create a special limited edition purple Indestructible Grace 4 Grace shirt. The shirt is being sold online only, link provided below! The sale of the shirts will continue from now until March 19th, at which time the online store will be closed. All the orders will be printed, and shipped to us in time for the March 26th workout.
For anyone who wants to order a shirt and have it shipped to them directly instead of to CFI that is also an option at checkout. $12. from the sale of each shirt will be donated to Epilepsy Awareness, Research + Education in Canada.
