Start the week with a HERO/ End the Week With a HERO
We Started this week with Murph on Victoria Day and we will end the Week With DT. Hero WODs are done with honour and in memory of a solider/EMS who lost their life in service to protect us and our freedoms.
Hero to Hero
Murph is an endurance and body weight workout and DT is exactly opposite, (and many of the coaches favourite, specifically Nate:) DT is a single domain of Heavy weightlifting and meant to be on the shorter side of the time frame.CrossFit as we have said many times, is being good at everything not specializing in anything.
So lets look at this Week: Did we test our fitness?
Monday: We tested endurance and gymnastics in the 20+ time frame this week in Murph.Tuesday: We tested our ability to cross 3 domains with weightlifting, Gymnastics and Endurance.Wednesday: We tested, gymnastics and high intensity, high heart rate movements in the 10-15 minute time frame.Thursday: We tested Weightlifting & Mono structural in Interval style training ( Rest/Work) short time frame.Friday: Here we are today to test a single domain of Heavy Weightlifting and in the 5-10 minute time frame..Did we specialize? Or did we accomplish what CrossFit asks us to do?You tell me...Enjoy the weekend!Stouty

In honor of USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis, 28, who was killed on Feburary, 20 2009 supporting operations in OEF when his vehicle was struck by an IED. Timothy is survived by his wife Megan and one-year old son T.J.
