Function
In CrossFit we train movements inside the gym that are transferable to life outside the gym. Our programming is based on function over aesthetics.
Take the deadlift as an example.
Deadlifting a barbell = lifting a patience from the ground, or a stretcher into an ambulance or lifting a couch....
The same can be said for many of the movements we do daily in our training. Whether the movements help us in our workplace, or day to day, or another sport.
