If you spent much time watching the Semi Finals take place over the past couple of weekends, you would have heard a lot of talk about training vs. competing.
The stimulus that we strive for in training vs. in competition is very different and as athletes in classes, it’s easy for you to often lose track of training intensity vs. full out competition intensity.
In training we want to stress the body appropriately to force the body to change, to adapt, but to be able to recover, allowing the body to perform better each day.
In competition your pushing your body to achieve the absolute best performance out of it for that given workout.
Food for thought, we don’t compete in classes, we train.
