Murph is Coming

Each year on the Victoria Day weekend we do the Hero WOD Murph. The past two years have been a virtual version of Murph, so we’re excited to be doing it back in the facility in person.

Murph will take place on the Saturday (the 21st) of the May long weekend. We will be increasing the class capacity for the workout to allow more athletes to sign in, it will be the first time in over 2 years that we’ve been able to do this as well, and will also be extending the class length to 90 mins to give a long enough time cap.

As we get closer to Murph we will explain more options on doing Murph, ie) solo, with a partner, etc.

As it’s a question we get asked often, for those looking for weight vests, check out 5.11, or Gorila Fitness, or Filt50. Keep in mind that weight vest / plate carriers, are typically sold without the weighted plates, we do know that the Filt50 vest did come with plates, so check out the cost of plates too if you’re looking to invest. The weights are 14lbs for ladies, 20lbs for men, typically in workouts. But it's up to you. (( You do not need a weight vest, this information is just for those who would like one, as around Murph we typically get asked this questions a number of times.))
