Vitamin Therapy

If you follow us on instagram you may have seen on our story last week you may have seen a hint of a post I made and shared on the CFI story about the possibility of B12 injections and Vitamin Therapy in our Therapy room as CFI.

A good friend of mine, Katrine Pearson is a registered nurse, who just before COVID announced the launch of her business Mod Aesthetics, which she is adding a wellness practice too as well. Katrine is beginning to do B12 injections through her practice and is looking later into the spring / summer to also begin Vitamin Therapy. We have been in talks about the possibility of bring that option to our Therapy room inside the facility.

So we wanted to gage your interest. If this is of interested to anyone, please speak to Jen or Steph to let us know as mentioned, we’re trying to gage interest.

Here’s a little about the B12 injections from Katrine.

Vitamin B12 Injection TREATMENT INFORMATION

Vitamin B12 plays a vital role in your overall health and wellness. It is vital for DNA production, red blood cells and the function and development of brain and nerve cells. Due to its importance supplementation is available to boost levels.

Vitamin B12 Injections can improve sleep, mood, weight, memory, energy, muscle strength, anxiety and depression and immune system response.

It is readily available in many food sources, mainly animal sources, fish, fortified cereals, dairy and eggs. It is also available in oral supplementations.

Due to dietary restrictions, gut absorption imbalances and multiple other factors many people opt for Vitamin B12 injections. Injections enable the body to absorb vitamin B12 without having to go through the digestive system and can be more convenient than daily oral supplementation.

Treatment Protocols

For optimal results it is recommended to have your B12 injection once a month. The injection is placed in your deltoid muscle with a dose of 1000 mcg of vitamin B12.

A thorough consultation and review of your medical history will be completed prior to commencing treatment.

Signs & Symptoms of a B12 deficiency

There are many signs and symptoms that indicate you may have a B12 deficiency. These include, but are not limited to:

Considerations for wellness treatment with vitamin b12

My practice and treatment philosophy with the treatment of Vitamin B12 injections is to improve your overall health and wellbeing from a symptom management perspective.

You will be seen for an initial consultation, which takes about 15 minutes. We review your health history and ensure you are able to safely receive the treatment.  For optimal results it is recommended to have Vitamin B12 injections once a month, which can then be scheduled on a regular basis.

** Before beginning or considering beginning any sort of treatment’s you should always speak to your healthcare provider.
