If you follow us on instagram (which you should @crossfit_indestri) you would most likely have seen our post today. Over the weekend we watched multiple different videos come out from Women taking part in the NCAA March Madness Basketball Tournament, women were sharing the different treatment they were receiving to the men.
So felt we should take a moment to thank CrossFit for creating a community that treats male athletes and female athletes as equal. Whether it’s inside the affiliates like ours, or at the Elite CrossFit Games level. Male and Female athletes are treated the same, they do the same workouts, they compete on the same stage, their prize money is the same, etc.
One of the arguments we’ve seen repeatedly this weekend is that male sports bring in more money than female sports. This is not a platform we will get into a debate on, but I believe if you asked CrossFit HQ, the female heats are just as popular as the male heats, and just as exciting to watch!
So we will leave this as a thank you to CrossFit for understanding that male and female athletes are both capable and both should be treated equally.
After all, together our sweat all glistens just the same!

Each Squat goes all the way down, but only halfway up… Then back down.
Don’t stand all of the way up until you finish the final rep.
