The WOD

The WOD we did on Monday, might have seemed somewhat familiar. In early June we did something similar, with the same movements, same volume, just partitioned differently.

In June the WOD was:

10 Rounds for Time:
5 Burpees over Bar
5 Hang Power Cleans 135/95
250m Row

This Monday the WOD was:

For Time:
50 Burpees over Bar
50 Hang Power Cleans 135/95
2500m Row

When we compare the leaderboard it’s interesting, many of the athletes who were here for both days are within a minute of their times. Some are a minute faster, some a minute slower, some are less than a minute. Go back and check in your books to see where you were.

Now other factors can come in to play, how you slept the night before, etc. But for the most part it’s interesting to find out if your an athlete that likes smaller sets and more transitions, or an athlete that might like to bite off bigger chunks of volume with fewer transitions.

We may need to try this one out one more time, in a 5 Rounds for Time partition and see how that one goes. Stay tuned.
