Day 1

How did day 1 of this weeks Nutrition Challenge go?

These challenges we’ve been doing are meant to have us add in some healthy habits into our life. They aren’t over the top, or anything that we can’t sustain. We’re not holding you to only 3 meals daily without snacks, or treats. This week we’re simply asking that you be mindful that the 3 main meals you eat each day are balanced with protein, veggie, carbs and fats.

I for one do not eat nearly enough throughout the day. On average my breakfast might be 2 eggs at 7am, and then I don’t eat again until 1:30pm or 2pm. Not good! This challenge for me is forcing me to be mindful, and eat more!

Challenges aren’t meant to be easy, but we also want these to be attainable and something of benefit to a healthy lifestyle. Taking 30 mins for you daily, keeping yourself hydrated, and eating balanced meals, are all pieces in a healthy lifestyle puzzle. We don’t just care about your fitness, we care about you, and arming you with tools for overall health.

5 Push Press
5 Devil Press

WOD:

5 Rounds

1 Min OH Object Sit ups
1 Min Devil Press
1 Min Thrusters
30 second rest
