‘Tis the Season to Lift Heavy

It’s another heavy day. This one, is the benchmark, The Other Total. Very much like CrossFit Total, you will have 15 mins per lift to reach your 1RM. And just like with the CrossFit Total, you must do so by first achieving the standards of movement with each of the lifts.

First up, finding a 1 RM Clean, followed by a 1 RM Bench Press, and finishing it off with a 1 RM Overhead Squat.

Coaches will go through all the movement standards with you prior to the lifts. Much like with the back squat, on the OHS you must squat below parallel to get the credit for the squat with the total, but for those using boards for assistance, or working toward depth, keep notes in your books.

It was so great to see all the smiles around the facility on Friday. You guys did an amazing job on CrossFit Total, regardless on the numbers that were put up, and there were some big ones, we’re so proud of all the standards of movement you were achieving. We’ve spent the last few months really hammering home squat depth, and as we watched you hit your back squats all your hard work, has paid off.
