The Price

This blog was originally meant to post last Thursday night, but in light of what happened at the CrossFit Games, I changed the blog.

In the 14 years that we’ve been a facility in Collingwood, our monthly membership prices have never been increased. In fact in 2014 they were lowered. Over the past 11 years being in the 200 Mountain Road, location, our rent has increased each year, as has the cost of doing business in general. Last year we entered into a new lease and our rent had a significant jump, one we ate the cost of for the past year. This year in June our affiliate fee with CrossFit also had a significant increase over previous years, and next month, our rent is increasing again for the next 12 months. After looking over things, we have come to a point where we need to do a price increase in our monthly memberships.

Our current prices are $100 +tax for 3 times a week membership and $125. +tax for unlimited. We are by far the lowest priced coach led facility in the area, as other facilities in the area range from $155 per month (starting) to $360 per month. And we truly and honestly do believe that we have the best coaches around. For many years we have trained many of the other trainers in the area. (not a brag, just a fact.)

We’ll share more details shortly. We do want to assure you that our goal is always to help as many people as possible get fit, but we do have to increase our prices in order to continue to be a sustainable small business.
