Rest

We’ve added the opportunity for an extra training session to our schedule with the 7:30pm Track Nite session on Wednesday nights. If you’re attending those sessions with us, are you taking a rest somewhere else?

We shouldn’t be seeing you 6 days a week, plus the track session. It’s too much. Your body needs rest to recover from training.
Your gains happen in the rest when you allow your muscle to repair.

Rest is important.

We live in a beautiful area. Take a day for active recovery. Go for a hike, in the nicer weather go get on the water, go for a kayak or a SUP, maybe a swim, a bike ride through the trail system, or even a walk.

Overtraining is a real thing, your bodies will handle it, but only for so long before breakdown and injuries start to occur. As important as moving your body and training regularly is. So are rest days and active recovery days.

Make sure you’re getting those days in.

5/5 High Box Step Ups
10 Curtsy Lunges
1/1 Pistol Negative
5 Scap Retract
5 Kip to L
5 Pull Ups

WOD:

Semifinals Test 2

As many reps as possible in 3 mins x 3 Rounds

5 Ring Complex ( 1 Toe to Ring, 1 Muscle Up, 1 Ring Dip )
20 Pistols ( 10 per leg, complete all 10 on one leg before switching )
Max Burpee Box Jump Overs

1 min rest between rounds
