What does that mean?
It means that what we do at CrossFit Indestri, is not only functional fitness, it's inclusive fitness! The needs of a professional athlete and a grandparent differ by degree not by kind. Both athletes need functional competence in their fitness. The professional athlete needs functional competence to win, while the grandparent needs functional competence to stay out of a nursing home.
We all need to be able to deadlift. Maybe we don't all need to be able to deadlift hundreds of pounds, but when your at home rearranging your future and you need to move your couch, you deadlift your couch. When you pick up your bags of groceries off the floor, you're deadlifting. The same summarization can be made for almost every movement we do in the gym. A ring dip looks very much like how you would get out yourself out of the pool, and so on….
What we do inside the four walls of our facility is set you up to be able to transfer what you do inside the gym, for real life outside it.
