Run for the Cure
This Sunday, would have typically been the CIBC Run for the Cure. For many year CrossFit Indestri put a team in the run, + over the years has fundraised well over $40,000 towards a future without breast cancer. One year our team had over 105 team members, it was the largest team ever at the Collingwood Run Site. ( I believe that still holds true today. )
Like many of us, both Stouty + I (Jen) had our mothers affected by breast cancer. We have many other members of our CFI family who have been affected as well.
I actually spent over 5+ years as the Volunteer Run Director for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure in Collingwood. This run was very near + dear.
This Sunday, if you’re looking to do something active, get outside and walk or run 5k. Wear Pink and show your support for a future without breast cancer. If you’re able to donate, sign up for the virtual run and donate!
