This Saturday is 24.3, our final workout of the open for 2024. The theme is St. Patty’s Day, think green, gold, rainbow lucky charms, etc.
Just like the other 2 weeks, we’ll ask that you arrive for 8:30am to get signed up in a heat time, athlete/judges briefing will be at 8:45am (please ensure you’re here for it), parking will once again be at the front of Agnora near the boats, and you’ll walk over through the fenced area.
We will have a little potluck style table again so please feel free to bring something to add to the table. We’ll provide fruit trays, etc.
We also always need judges, so if you’re willing, we would love the help please.
We would love to see the gym full. Even if you’re not competing come out and support your fellow athletes who are. Invite your families and friends to come cheer you on. The energy in the gym last week was amazing, let’s keep it going for the final week. This is what CrossFit is all about, community, and support. This is where the magic comes from. These are the moments you will remember. It won’t be your scores, or the placing on the leaderboard, it will be the way you felt when everyone was cheering you on.
On a side note: If you follow us on instagram you have probably seen that we nominated Nancy for the #GoldenBarbellAward for a Stand Out performance in the open. We would love if every single one of you went and liked, and commented on the reel, show CrossFit just how amazing she is. Because when you think about it, most 87 year olds don’t even CrossFit, let alone compete in the CrossFit Open. As impressive as the top performances on the leaderboard are, what she is doing, and has been doing is beyond special. Regardless on the Golden Barbell Award, Nancy is #OurGoldenGirl. We just want to share her with the entire CrossFit Community, as Nancy his proof that our needs differ by degree not kind. We thank you in advance for your support on that reel.
