Equipment
We take a great deal of pride in the fact that we have a large variety of equipment at CFI. From Rowers and Assault Bikes, to Atlas Stones, tires, fat bars, and Sled…. etc. Having a variety of equipment allows for the ability to program a variety of movements, which in turn expands your fitness. We were surprised when we held the CrossFit Strongman Course at our facility last year, to have a number of CrossFit Coaches from across Ontario attend the course who had never flipped a tire, picked up an atlas stone or touched a yoke.We ask that the equipment we have please be respected and taken care of. Please do not drop the kettle bells (especially from overhead), the barbell's with 10's on them, etc. We have a few broken kettle bells right now, from them being dropped from overhead. Kettle bells are not meant to be dropped like that, they can explode and cause injury. We thank you for your understanding with this.
We also appreciate when you put the equipment back where it goes, and wipe it down for the next class. This is also very helpful with cold and flu season approaching. Please ensure that after class before you leave, you wipe down your equipment with a fit wipe, barbells, pull up rig, rower handles, etc.We want to continue adding new pieces of equipment to CFI, rather than having to replace broken ones, so we appreciate you taking care of the equipment! In fact with the holiday season getting in to full swing, we've just purchase some fun new 'toys' for all to enjoy. They should be arriving soon!
